First Dorm Residents' Female Retreat at CRE
-
PCC, |
||
|
Participants Comments: "I had a great time here. The retreat was important and worth it. It is very useful and good to know that somebody cares about my life besides my mom." |
"When my name was picked, I took my baby doll. By the evening time, I was frustrated with it and wanted to return it to the counselors. I thought being a mom was very boring because the other girls enjoyed themselves and I did not; it was frustrating because I needed to carry it around and even slept with it. The lesson I learned was I am still a child trying to learn, I can't be a child having a child. Even though this retreat was only two days, I can feel the reality of being a young mother and I didn't like it." Student Life plans to have annual retreat for dorm residents. Student Life
would like to thank all the girls for participating. Special "Big Thank You" goes out
to Cafeteria Ezra Takeo & his staff, CRE Vice President Thomas Taro & his
staff, Transportation Assistants Ephraim Ngirachitei, Ismael Anastacio, &
Lucien Olikong, Cooks & helpers Heston Kebou, Husayn Beketaut, Harter
Hertin, Justin Olgeriil, & Merii Max, Photographer Teongel Ngirkelau,
and Counselor Adora Andreas, Hilda Ngiralmau, & Maurine Alexander.
Your time and commitment made this first retreat possible and fun. Again,
thank you very much!! PCC ENDOWMENT THANKSGIVING FUNDRAISER SET FOR NOVEMBER 22, 2006. TICKETS NOW ON SALE. SEE INSIDE! |
