What's the best way to take a much needed rest and relaxation after exams? This was the question the Chuukese and Pohnpeian students asked themselves before they decided to have a picnic at the rock island to get what they were looking for i.e. R&R they so needed. Thirty-eight (38) students along with two staff from Student Life & Housing Unit left on November 19th around 9:00 a.m. to Ngkesiil Island. Students indeed enjoyed eating barbecue, swimming, playing cards, playing volleyball and tetherball and simply enjoying each other's company |
at the rock island. On the way back to Koror, they were even more fortunate because they were given a chance to see the uniqueness and beauty of the famous Milky Way where they were given time to swim before heading back to Koror around 4:30 p.m. The Chuukese and Pohnpeian students want to thank Student Services for making it possible for them to have a picnic. They also extend their gratitude to the boat drivers, the Cafeteria staff, and particularly Ismael Anastacio who chaperoned the students the entire time. Thank you everyone and have a great summer. See you all in Fall Semester, 2007!
