Chuukese and Pohnpeian Students Thank
Student Services

What's the best way to take a much needed rest and relaxation after exams? This was the question the Chuukese and Pohnpeian students asked themselves before they decided to have a picnic at the rock island to get what they were looking for i.e. R&R they so needed. Thirty-eight (38) students along with two staff from Student Life & Housing Unit left on November 19th around 9:00 a.m. to Ngkesiil Island. Students indeed enjoyed eating barbecue, swimming, playing cards, playing volleyball and tetherball and simply enjoying each other's company

at the rock island. On the way back to Koror, they were even more fortunate because they were given a chance to see the uniqueness and beauty of the famous Milky Way where they were given time to swim before heading back to Koror around 4:30 p.m.

The Chuukese and Pohnpeian students want to thank Student Services for making it possible for them to have a picnic. They also extend their gratitude to the boat drivers, the Cafeteria staff, and particularly Ismael Anastacio who chaperoned the students the entire time. Thank you everyone and have a great summer. See you all in Fall Semester, 2007!
